muscro mandy chavy will be lost.
cant you pook a romany like ya dear old da
if ya cant pook well

mandy jelled across the pooh (mandy walked across the field)
to lul a little cosh (to collect fire wood)
muscro mandy chavy will be lost ( a policeman child you will be nicked)
cant ya pook a romany like ya dear old da (cant you understand a gypsy like your dad)
if you cant pook well ( if you dont understand your in trouble)

my nan married a gorger and so now were all gorger's lol

gypsy is a lose term when used by the general public to describe travellers, the problem is they all get tarred with the same brush. the gypsy that sells lucky heather or clothes pegs whittled from wood or tells fortunes is not the same as a tinker or a pikey the latter two are more commonly known as hedge bumpers. these are the people who bring the whole traveling community into disrepute. unfortunately they all tend to travel in caravans and so the general public lable them all the same. tinkers and pikeys are the ones who commit the scams.
