Youtube can be a great way to supplement your income via MD'ing......if you have a personality and feel like recording your adventures for all to see.

Deep Digger Dan.....Nugetnoggin...etc etc.

According to Socialblade they average $2000 a month each. I know the top Youtube stars make millions a year....the $$ is there if you are into that sort of thing and can bring in the viewers.

I have to admit... I have known or met a few that have not only made a "living"... but small to large fortunes.

There is always someone in the crowd... that is "on their way" to do so.

If it is your time... its your time.
...
"there are millions and millions of Treasure Hunters...
But only a few of them have Treasure notches in their belts... and even fewer have treasure within their grasp."

Gotta get out and kick a few rocks ...

If you live in the right place and do it at the right time. Then work at it and hope the cost of living doesn't go up. I look at it like this. Your starting out on the right track. Your detector should pay for itself. They all do if you work at it. So just get like 10 detectors. Then you'll make 10 times the money. That gives you a cushion. Ha Ha.

I dug a rotted Zincon that was shaped in the likeness of Jesus. I sold it for $1.2 million to the Vatican. I'm pretty sure I know where the Oak Island treasure is located too.

Every time I eat something... and something catches my eye...
I am looking for the Potato Chip Shroud of Turin...
Or the French Toast Burning Bush.

I once saw a fly on bread... but it flew away... so I knew it wasn't real :)

That depends on what you would consider "a living"! Back in the day, when silver coinage was much more plentiful, it was possible to do okay. But keep in mind that it only brought 2-3 times face value. Gas was under.50 a gallon and rent was about $80 if my memory serves me. "A living" is relative.

It is possible if you live in the right place. My friend (49) makes a good living from metal detecting. After paying off his mortgage and given up work he spends all his time on the hobby. He's just bought a second home abroad. I hate him. :angel3: (joking, of course!).
