Old Dog, don't feel alone, I can remember seeing John Wayne in "The Searchers" at a drive-in with my parents, had to be 1958 or 1959. I was about 8 or 9........ :'(

It was 1968.

With my parents, my sister and I cramed into the back of our '68 VW Bug... we saw a re-release of Bambi, and the feature ... Herbi the Love Bug... LOL

EDDE!!! The 1969 Superbee was the best car ever made!!!

There are still 3 drive-ins within an hour or less drive from my house and at
least 6 that have been closed over the years. I remember in the cold months
some drive-ins rented out 110 volt heaters for a buck or two that plugged into
the speaker stand. One cold night we had the heater on and my girl & I were snuggled under a blanket 'watching' the movie when that damn heater caught
on fire. It's funny now thinking of the scrambling to roll down the window & throwing the heater out of the car.
