Congrats on your new sluice, let us know how it works and some gold pic's would be nice.

That appears to be deep V mat, I believe that sluice is only 6" wide by about 29" long. Just be sure to classify all your material down to 1/8" before running it down the sluice.

GG~

jcamycobizz.jpgwell i got the water gate attachment and mounted some bolts in a bucket to hold it own once the water is in it and the pump also it works good, pretty cool for a cheap investmant.

crazywolf - how's it going with the jc amy? does it catch gold? i'm a broke college student in the market for a budget sluice ($50 max). thanks!

ilike it alot but its a verry thin metal. dont know how much of abuse itll take mining because it seems like itll bend and not be easy to place in water.then when i add the garden hose to it for a clean up its just notheavy enough made it wants to fall over so it has to be strapped down to bucket.the ribbed matting is nice, if you plan on just going out once in a while its good, but i plan on mining everyday so this one will stay home and ill just use my colorado goldstickssluice and minelight sluices
