Hi everyone,

I am knew to the forum. I am a fossil collector, and was searching for a map cabinet to store shark teeth. I ran across this piece of furniture just south of Washington DC in an estate sale.
As I was moving it. I noticed how incredibly heavy and well made it was, and found this stamp on the back of the piece. It measures 62" long ands 42" wide. The top drawer folds down into a writing desk. If anyone knows anything about this piece; I would love to hear about it and what it might be worth. I do not want to scratch up a piece if it has meaning. IMG_5658.JPG IMG_5655.jpg

Thank you. I found the brand and some history, but no luck on this piece. I'll keep searching.
