Found a new park that I never new existed a few miles from my house. Looks like the park has been there quite a long time from the look of the equipment on the tot lot. I worked the monkey bars first and then the swings. Under the third swing I checked out pops a 1943 Mercury dime. It was only about a half inch deep, just pushed a handful of wood chips out of the way and there it was shinning under the sun. Wow I guess No one has worked this park before. That was the only silver I found, had to leave after 2 hours as the afternoon thunderstorms rolled in. I did find two wheat cents though, 1956 and 1958D and $6.95 in clad. The clad break down is as follows: Quarters $2.75, Dimes $3.30, Nickles $0.65 and Cents $0.25. I also found three bullets, the park is in a bad area of town, guess thats why I never noticed it before. Will get out there again early tomorrow. I just worked the tot lot in coins only mode. Will extend my search to the grass areas in jewelry mode. I'll take my camera with me tomorrow and post pictures of the park and hopefully some good finds, which me luck.
