Met up with 3 friends and went digging....

Yesterday it was beautiful out. Mid 50's with some peeks of sunshine. Started at a 1926 school with some older tree lawns close by. Later we went to a 1949 school and dug some more. Here are my finds. The best was 2 wheats 1948 and 1911, then a Canadian Loon Dollar. That lang dark thing at the bottom is a brass bar just over 22" long. Over a pound of brass! Dealing with some back pain where I pulled some muscles, so I was slower than usual, but I sure had a good time with some friends. Spring has sprung!!!

I`m glad to see some of you are out in Michigan...we are just gettin out here in my part of N.Y.
I`v been interested in Mich. detecting from reading a lot of posts from Coinstriking Jason and his brother Ryan they seem to do very well there hope they are out too.

Good finds MIke. I'm in MI also and made it out for an hour on Sunday. Unfortunately a cold, work, and tons of after work responsibilities have kept me from doing any more hunting during this warm snap. Hopefully we have seen the last of the heavy frosts here in MI.
