My new "old" spot
No, I did not venture into the burial ground, although it did look tempting. but this little ballfield across from the church really surprised me. Spent 3 hours and my first 2 hits were the fraternity tokens, ill have to google it later. found many memorials, a crusted indian head and two large cents, 1834 & 1836 so that makes me a trifeca. The cannon was about 6 inches away from its wheels, but im glad I found both of them, the spoon piece seems to be sterling so at least i did get some silver.
a nice eagle button and a flat airplane also. I must say though, this was some of the most fun i had in a while,

i know its a no no. but i can just picture all those coins, not the people. cant you? just a little 
those are all cool finds ya got there but i gotta say i love the cannon best. congrats. willy
