Don, I think yours may be an Accordion reed plate... Here's a similar one I found--it is zinc or pot metal, with brass reeds. Most "cheap" harmonicas seemed to be brass plates with iron reeds--as HB's does. The one I posted below is 7 1/4 inches:

I thought accordions had separate reeds(per note).

Not Accordion, Harmonium, pump organ thing, even were made to be portable.. I own a large one with a damaged sound board. Have has a few folding ones through the years..
