So the wife needed some stuff from the corner store..which happens to be right next to a Wells. Went in and asked for boxes of dimes. The tellers eyes lit up and she said "we have tons of dimes!" Turns out the courier delivered too many boxes or something like that, they actually did not have room for them in the vault so the manager made each teller buy a box to keep in their cabinet. I bought 4 boxes of dimes and $50 in CRW halves. Dimes did not fare well, but not a total skunk so I am happy.

Dimes:

Halves:

$50 CWRs: 65, 69

Earlier in the day we helped my inlaws clean out their garage. My wife found her childhood piggy bank. Funny thing is she thought the bicentennials were cool so she had a crap load of them. Buried deep down was a 61 quarter. She wanted to add it to our silver stash so in it goes.

How was that bag someone's dump with all that silver? You killed it.

Well, when I dumped in $500 to fill the $1000 bag I assumed that the other $500 was a dump. You can see how that logic would play out. Clearly, my assumption was incorrect, thankfully so.

Had to pick up a package at the PO, so I stopped in a couple of my good banks around there. $280 in CWR halves and about $200 in dimes.

Dimes skunked out, but the halves produced: 66, 67x4

There were a bunch of other CRHers in the area that used to order, I think some of them stopped coming in hence the extra boxes. I managed 9 boxes from this branch between today and yesterday, but thats rare. I usually get 4-5.

Most of my branches are 2 boxes a week, 1 thats 4 and 1 that just offered to get me 2 boxes twice a week because she orders 2 times a week anyway, I'm thinking about taking her up on her offer. Save me some running around too.

I find myself wondering if the branch might get in trouble for ordering so much. I have only officially asked them to order 4 boxes, but they always have more on hand and I always make a point of asking if someone else might be expecting to buy them. I dont know what to make of it, only that ill take advantage while I can. One if the other branches ordered 3-4 boxes for me for a few weeks then suddenly they went down to 1, except this week I asked for 2 and they obliged. The ebb and flow of CRHing activities is difficult to predict, seems that at this time CRHer activity is low. I dont think that will last with $35 silver. Id say if they offer to order, go for it.

Ya, I allways ask " are we still ok with my orders" every week when I go into every branch and they allways say it's fine, I think 2 orders a week is to much but, maybe once in a while would be cool, if I did it every week that would put me at 14 boxes a week, which would be my max right now.
