New Washington dollar should have the legand, E Pluribus Unum, In God we Trust, Date and Mint mark stamped into the outside edge. I found 2 examples with no printing at all not even date or mint.
I have listed one on e-bay to see what interest there is. Listed under George washington gold dollar, mint error

Scan of front, back, and edge. Edge scan has a non error on top and the error example on the bottom.

So keep your eyes open!!

If you find anymore like that, it might be worth holding on to. It might be decided later down the road that coins w/o edging are worth lots more due to rarity. Or maybe not.

Only time will tell.

Just an idea.

Makes me want to bust open the rolls Ive got. Very tempted. Think Ill leave them rolled up for now though. Glad to see there is an error though, now I have something new to look for.

Thanks guys, I'm sending one into PCGS to get graded as first known example. Bidding is up to 207.00 with 190 watching. Thursday evening should be interesting. LOL

If you found 2 already, I'm guessing they're not gonna be that rare. Get the money while the getting's good!

Why do you call it a gold dollar? Are they gold colored like the Sac?
