Heres a few peices that I picked up walkin rocky shores a few days ago. Mostly water tumbled quartz with a decent rhyolite one which I think is an Adena. The last one I am trying to figure out the material. When I got it home and washed off the mud it seemed to have rust in it. What do you think?

Thanks 37. The last definetly is quartzite. The point before it is quartz just harder to tell from all the creek stain. The very last pic is a knife and preform. We have too much quartz here.

That is really good to hear. I remember when you first started hunting. As they said in Jerimiah Johnson.
"You have done well pilgrim"
That is a compliment :notworthy:

That's a classic movie. " Elk dont know how many legs a horse has pilgrim ". The old mountain man was great.

Bsit, you're doing really well for only being at it for just over a year. It took me along time to finally find my first axe. Alot of guys hunt a lifetime without being lucky enough to find one.

Thanks guys. I think im just lucky. Ive only seen peices in the collections of my "buddies". Mine is the only full ax found lately that I know of from our spot. Found it about 2 months after starting. People were not happy. I really try to look for hardstone as well as points and I think alot of folks dont do that.
