My hunting buddy and I secured an early 1700's home as a detecting site Sunday afternoon :)

We hunted for a few hours and pulled some nice relics as well as coins!

He dug two silver G Dub Ya's, two Rosies, the biggest keg spicket eva and a really, really cool musket trigger housing :o

I was just begging to find a Barber...

Minutes later I had my first Barber dime, an EF 1910!!!

It will fit in nicely between my 1891 Seated and 1916 Merc ;)

My relics included some really cool suspender clasps, a button (matches one I found a few weeks ago on the other side of the county, they both say "Treble Plated") and assorted buckles!

I also dug three Wheaties... 1928, 1935 and a 1944 S.

We just knew there had to be more silver at this joint and made plans to return Monday morning.

We just could barely wait to start swingin'!

Before my buddy knew it... he had found a 1945 War Nickel... then a 1927 Walking Liberty Half, a 1945 Merc and yet another War Nickel this one a 1943!!!

All I found was this bad bear pictured below.... ::)

I guess it was time for my MineLab to pay for itself ;D

Thanx for looking at yet another boring ol' coppa brought to you by...

1794 new head. Around 150.00 bucks. I doubt you could get it graded being a dug coin. They say they won't grade a dug coin. And, with a mintage of 918,000 + no rarity there.

A beauty of a find none the less, and banner worthy. Good luck with the cleaning.

Really??? They won't grade a dug coin? Why is that?

I think a dug coin is alot more interesting then one that sat in a collection collecting dust or in sombody's sock drawer for all these years...
