mudslideslim, thanks for posting the link. Those videos were awesome. I salute you guys in your efforts to preserve relics from that ugly war. Until watching the videos, I had no idea how deep those bullets, etc were found. The soil looks like it's easy to dig there (unlike around here) so I guess it's not that difficult to get deep?

Like the 3-ringers of course, but the spur and the breast plates and the ink bottles were absolutely astonding. Man, I could do with a dig in that place!!!!

Keep on videoing AND digging.

can anyone explain how to get the video.
I must be missing something. I can get to the web site OK, I'm registered, but then what.
Hmmm.... prob something simple.

Click on the link provided in mudslideslim's post. Then scroll down a little bit to the square that says something like

"The Treasure Hunters
Episode 64"

Then click on that box and it should start playing.

tech support for viewing videos...

For those of you having trouble viewing the videos, here are a couple of tips:
1. Be sure to have the latest version of Quicktime installed. If you do not have this, a free download can be found by clicking on the "Free Quicktime Download" link on the left-hand side of http://treasureoutfitters.com .
2. Click on the small video screens on the right-hand side of the site. (One video screen accompanies each post and you may have to click on them twice to enable and play.)
3. If the video plays some but not all the way through, go to internet options under the tools tab and clear you cookies, history, and temporary internet files. Once this is done, close the internet, restart your cpu and try again.
4. Finally, a high speed connection is best. You can watch these with a dial up, but it may take a while to download. The video will try to play as it is downloading, and a slow connection may get hung up at this step. With a slow connection, I recommend you pause the video to keep it from playing while it downloads.

Thanks to TreasureTales for assisting. Hope this helps.
