Hi guys THX for the site its great.Been MDing for 4mo now and have had alot of great finds, but what i love is the HUNT! Learn something new every time i go out and from reading TODAYS FINDS. Im an old fart by computer standard and still learning how to post and type LOL! Anyway thx for lettin me join and all the helpful info.
SOME FINDS TO DATE
1.1902 V nickle
2.1908 german 2mark
3.5 mercs
4. 4 pre 50 nickles
5. Appox 25 wheaties
6. a 100 yr old brass lock
7. a 6 inch toy car (tootsie)
8. 2 rosies and 2 silver quarters

It sure did WATERCOLOR ..... it was 8 inches deep in the river and i had to see what it was

Welcome to the forum! You have made some great finds in your short 4 month venture into the hobby. I am in Germany and still have not found a 1908 silver 2 Mark coin, maybe tomorrow, LOL. I hope you can post the pictures of your finds soon. If you do not have a digital camera, save your clad and get one soon, does not have to be a great camera as you will only downsize them anyway to get them to post on the forum. HH, Mike

thats a heck of a start! Especially with the quarters, i don't think people carelessly lost those babies back then. I don't find alot of them.
