:hello:

Thought I would show you the coin that was found the same day I got the Gold Sovereign, this was actually found by Michael my detecting buddy :icon_thumleft:

At the time it didn't get much interest :dontknow: maybe because of the Goldy, well now it's been cleaned and ID properly, and it's such a loverly coin I thought I would show you it again :icon_thumleft:

Romn Silver Siliqua of ValantinianI, struck at Arles, Ad 364-367.

Pearl - Diamonded, drapped and cuirassed bust
right,

Emperor standing facing, head right, holding
Victory on Globe and labarum; star in right field.

Jenolite :)

this coin also helps date our site, the oldest Roman was the Mark Antoney(Galley issue BC) I found, and now we have a late fourth century coin, this means the site, has seen Roman activity, almost the entire Roman period of Britain :o

Not full :P but it is there and could take years to find, I think this year will see a good ploughing going in, and then it might just turn up a Gold Roman Coin :o
