Thought I would show you the coin that was found the same day I got the Gold Sovereign, this was actually found by Michael my detecting buddy :icon_thumleft:

At the time it didn't get much interest :dontknow: maybe because of the Goldy, well now it's been cleaned and ID properly, and it's such a loverly coin I thought I would show you it again :icon_thumleft:

Romn Silver Siliqua of ValantinianI, struck at Arles, Ad 364-367.

Pearl - Diamonded, drapped and cuirassed bust
right,

Emperor standing facing, head right, holding
Victory on Globe and labarum; star in right field.

Two great coins Colin, sometimes you find such quality in a coin, and then discover one right next to it, and its horrible. Funny how some spots in soil sort of protect a coin, and other spots just eat them...
