Hey Guys, found this piece of a Smoking pipe today. Should be old and possibly some silver alloy?

Thanks for the input Guys!

If it's not Aluminium or pewter, it's either this "German silver" or really some silver alloy?! Guess I will get it tested somewhere next Month...
I can't see anything greenish but there are a few Red Points which I can't scratch away.

I believe there is zero chance its any kind of silver-alloy. If it's not alumimium, it's something like what Red-Coat stated, some cheap alloy.

Here, I found a couple of images that match, only in porcelain. Looks like the lidded pipe crowd is right. It isn't a pipe by itself, rather it's a connector for the bowl and stem. My guess is it functions as a moisture/spit trap. Quick disassembly for cleaning.

This one looks like they have two bowls with the connector, no stem.
