I found this ring MDing at the beach this past year. There are no markings but it looks like silver ( 49 - 52 vdi ), but vdi is low for silver. It looks hand made in an Art Deco design. The stone is 1" x 11/32" x 3/32", the band is 3/4" diameter x 5/16" wide. Any help with dating this ring is appreciated.

I don't have any idea about the age, but it certainly is unusual.

Howdy mrs,

Great find. I really like it. Is the Onyx channel cut for that bezel? Rather than Deco, I'd say Southwest American Indian tribal. The sawtooth bezel work and incising are typical. I'd say that it was an art piece made in the last 35 or so years, due to the unusual slab cut stone. Is it a man's size?
