Ok, can anyone give me information on the two following items, please?
(1)the round ball was given to me if new mexico in the city of farmington. I was told it was a toy from some sort of game. it is spherical and appears to be clay.
(2) The red stone was collected decades ago in south east Utah, at the foot of a cliff below anasazi indian ruins. Is it a finished tool? Or a preform?

The first piece looks like a Clay Marble and they are Early Settler and not actually Native American. The Indians may have used them and acquired them through trade, but they didn't manufacture them.

The second piece looks natural to me.

thank you for your input grim reaper, I was thinking that was at least worked when I found it, It was mixed in with a lot of pottery shards. this was long before this particular area was picked clean.

The last one looks like a crude chopper. Flaking only on one edge and flat on the other for the hand if it is like the ones I find.
