I dunno. Right stuff though, I think. Also looks like classic pot-lids from being in a fire or being fire-treated. NICE material.

I believe what Tom is refering to is the little craters or pop-marks that are caused by being in a fire.

Hard to say but material, fire damage and approx shape make it a possibility.

Maybe a an old broken point that ended up in the fire?

Some flint was fired to change the composition for better chipping. Could be a chunk from that process or a blank that was not finished. Here's a similar one I found last week.
