Porcelain Sign Found Today!

[farmdump]

Today I went out and was digging at the "car dump" when I hit something metal. I pulled it out and there it was! a beautiful two-sided porcelain sign that read "Supreme Auto Oil" and below that it said "leave less carbon" I've searched online and have found some that have gone for $500! I'm so excited! here are some pics.

I just went back out to the dump and found a old radio for a mercury car! you think I should post that to?

Yep! I had found an old one...pretty neat. It was just the frame.

I have a question River Rat. At the dump there are lots of car parts. should I waste the time of bringing them back home, or just leave them there?

Sometimes old car parts bring some good bucks on ebay. Once sold an old Dodge hub cap for $

Farmdump, that's up to you to decide, as thrillathahunt states there are some good bucks in "some of it". Depends on how old, condition and is it worth it. I always liked the old hood ornaments, they're so neat.

Backwards (latnoziroh / horizontal) is easy to fix

Good find FarmDump. Since the Pickers Show, everybody and their brothers is hunting for those porcelain signs. One of my states rural grocery stores was broken into one night. The only things stolen was the porcelains signs he had on the inside walls. News didn't say about any signs he had outside. Anyway, great find. And, if you find anything chrome around that dump, grab it.

I was thinking of the Pickers as well,they love those old porcelain signs. I'm surprised Cracker Barrel restaurants haven't been burglarized for their signs.

A car guy would want that in his man cave for sure cool find Farmdump should be worth a couple hundred at least. keep up the swinging.
