A soak in bleach will tell ya if oxides of maganese/iron etc NEVER CRUSH NUTTN' TILL YA CHECK FIRST-check with a magnet is yet another quick fast non destructive check along with a knife as ifn' it cracks,crumbles or goes crunch not oro puro unless super low grade ore-John

Ha yea I'm def not crushing a possible nugget hah. Not magnetic / and makes an indent with knife. Streak test is very gold streak. Ill do the bleach test and let you know outcome. Thanks for the help. Here are few more pics of it.

Streak test doesn't look like gold at all.

You could always do another streak test with known gold (necklace, ring) to compare for future reference.

Yeah don't give up. I was just like you when I first started. I thought everything was gold and none of it was really. But the first time I found real gold there was zero doubt about it and I knew instantly. Once you find the real thing you'll know it. Good luck. :)

Thanks braddahs not giving up I'm going to soak it some HCL for a while for the heck of it
