Hi all, just a bit bored and figured might as well give this a go since I haven't had time to CRH in over a week.

Post your dream box(or bag) here, pictures would be great, stories, anything.

We all know some mega-scores have come and go, some forgotten, some not. Even if it's a couple ounces of silver, if it is a personal dream score, feel free to post it!!!

Early 90s My dad payed for a supply bill with cash and got a silver quarter in change. He asked the cashier if she had anymore and said yes an old man payed for a bill early that morning with 3 rolls of quarters. They were all solid silver. Best box was recent and had 19 silver rosies in it. HH all!

Here's my best day from all the way back in 2007!

Well, a few days ago, I got skunked on 2 bags of Half Dollars from the bank...I decided I was going to stop searching for a while, but for some reason, I decided to order two more bags. Well, I'm glad I did! One of the bag appears to have been searched (All the halves have a black sharpie mark across them) But the other bag was FULL of silver!!! Here's a picture and the totals.

coins2362.jpg

1964's are on top, then the Walking Liberty and Foreign coin, and finally, the 40%'ers.

Totals:

1942- 1
1964's- 89 ***All appear to be Uncirculated!!!***
1965's- 1
1966's- 2
1967's- 10
1968D's- 5
1969D's- 2

That's a total of 90 90%'ers and 20 40%'ers, all in ONE BAG!!

Best bag I ever got was a bag of pennies I got fairly recently that was a collection dump, easily $10 face in wheats along with 6 Indian Heads. Best box I ever got was my box of pennies not too long ago with 4 IH cents.

Unreal.... Amazing. I think there is a very good chance that expiriencing something like this would be the end for me. As in, I think I would actually die.

I'm guessing that palidin answered the question literally - "a dream" bag. Or, did you actually get that score?

My best find was from an out of town bank that sold me a partial bag of $352.50 in halves. It produced (9) 1964 kennedys and (42) 40%ers :love10:

The following are pics from a couple years ago when the hunting was really good. The only reason these were taken was because it was about twice what was normal on an average day of hunting. now your lucky to get a few 40% per box if anything, mostly skunks.
but I was cleaning out loomis at a rate of about $12000 per week, so it didnt take long to get to the bottom. Dumped into brinks.

I'm sure if my friend Obediah, an inspiration to CRH were here, he would have a huge display of photographs of his dream boxes. But no one wanted him here...... I call him on the phone and he and I love to chat about CRH, Life in general, the truth about what is going on in the world today. Earlier this year he got one helluva box with some 100 Walkers. If the gestapo weren't so hard on him, he may still be here..... But for those interested in the good man, the ones who are (were) his staunch followers here, he has been having bad luck with halves. his last six he told me? boxes only produced 5 40%ers. Just show you what the Nazis do to someone who tells the truth.

I have heard alot about this Obediah character. Nothing I have heard seems to be bad or negative. I am only a rookie though, (been CRH'ing for about 4 months). Where is Obediah now? Is there another forum that he "hangs" in?

Chris.

First off, let me state that I considered Obediah a friend.
Secondly, He kept spouting things not related to CRH, In particular about our goverment and the way it was run. Kinda like NAZI's, I believe is the
term you used above considering TNET and its membership.
Thirdly, he was warned several times to stop with the Politic's on this board and that it didn't belong in the CRH section.

Me, I could careless, I always enjoyed his posts and finds but RULES ARE RULES and calling TNET or its members a bunch of NAZI's is not the correct thing to do. They have rules on this site that you have to abide with, they are not hidden, they are not locked in some secret uber safe deposit box, they are in plain sight and can be read at anytime.

Six posts total huh :icon_scratch:
