A friend and I went to my favorite detecting spot today in search of civil war artifacts - I wasnt disappointed. My finds are below - a 50 Cal Smith Carbine - buckshot from a buck and ball - Spencer Carbine shell and what appears to be a piece of a cannon primer, it matches the top portion of a Whitworth Cannon primer.

We found lots of other junk as well including many pieces of modern lead. Thanks for looking.
