Carp Chris. less than 300 in a 35 acre lake.

Im sorry, you must be mistaken.
The proper name is "freshwater bonefish", haha.

I use a 7 weight flyrod on the tailing carp down here... And i absolutely love having them take the reel down to the backing even when using a large arbor reel with the best of carbon drag washer stacks.

An adrenaline rush for sure!

This is "down the street shot"... but might as well be off my back porch...
This picture was taken early morn from deck.

My yard has sand and sparse grass...
AND...
I have the Florida State Flower growing throughout my yard...

Sandspurs...

Dogs really hate em.
