Hey fellas - thought I would say hi and share a couple pics of my recent finds. The parks out here are much tougher than any IL park I have ever been in. A few times out though and about 20 wheaties and 2 silver. Found a cool POG pin which is either Provincial Old Guard or Prudential Old Guard. Either way I think it is 30's or 40's.

Hope all is well!

Hey Mark - for one, the ground is much harder. In the two months I've been here we have not had any rain yet so the ground is really dry and like a hard clay. Also, since people can detect here nearly every day year round, the parks have really been pounded. I would say the trash levels are double that of Chicago parks too so picking through it is tough. Compared to my 2 silvers, the guy I've been hunting with has a CTX3030 and has found 7 silvers which have been just out of range for the etrac or sitting under a rusty bolt. It is still fun to get out there though and there is a chance! Just need to be persistent.

HH!
