Wow, you better keep us posted. I think I'm leaving on the first plane to Nevada, ha ha! Gotta be better digging there, than here in cold Ohio. Man that's a lot of Silver dimes. What did you find a Dime slot machine. LOL

That is a lot of silver for just one hour. I can't wait for the story so I'm going to make one up....

I think he went out and swung his detector for an hour at the local coin store window and when it finally smashed he grabbed the dimes....The old smash and grab routine.

Nice find...I'm looking forward to the actual story.

What cost a dime in the 40's?

Maybe near the location of an old outdoor soda/cigarette machine?

It's 6 dimes too many for a buried $5.00 roll.

Hmmmmm.

Here's what cost me many a dime in Nevada. The old 10 cent slot machines- one dime for a pull and if you hit the jackpot you would have both pockets full of dimes and if it was before 1965 they would all be silver.

Looks like LONE GUNMAN hit some kind of jackpot.

Did you ever hear the story about the guy who insisted on taking his Las Vegas winnings home in silver dollars?

The overhead luggage rack on the jet cracked from the weight of them. ;)

Still waiting...
