Silver! Spelled Correctly aka the Workin' Man's Post...

For those that might want to read a post with the workin' man's meager finds - here it is. I won't be stating how awesome I am or how many pieces of misspelled and mispronounced "precious metals" I found. And I certainly will not reply to my post a hundred times to keep it on top (I'm not that needy). So, without further adieu...

Hit the old park with Iz today. We'll let the pictures do the talking. Nothing spectacular nor banner-worthy. Just some good ol' silver "Rosies" and an early "wheat" ('17 Wheat, '57 and '64-D Dimes). Also found was this old slab of iron. I believe it to be either an old mower blade (riding mower) or a blade of some type of farm implement. I'd love to be able to say that the '64-D Rosie is of the "double-die reverse" type but it is not. Good to find silver regardless and we both had a lot of laughs as usual.

Enjoy the pics and thanks for stopping by. Keep on swingin'...

Re: Silver! Spelled Correctly aka the Workin' Man's Post...

Congrats on the silver!

Always nice to find some, but I know what you mean, when I find a rosie or a washington I'm happy enough to post it, but I don't post a reply to all the posts 'cause a rosie or so is not cool enough to keep a post on top of the page. But I think several rosies would be, or even one nice looking merc.

No need to reply, but,
Good luck,
HH.

Thank you for knowing how to spell silver and not having an on going conversation with your buddies on this post. Great finds.
