Sleepy's Most Wanted (Roosevelt Dimes)

After having searched through $7,110 worth of dimes, I figured I'd get a Whitman Coin book (1946-1964 Dimes). I'm going to make it my goal to fill it by the end of the year! To the right is my "Most Wanted" List to help keep track of my progress. I want all of my finds to be from CRHing, so I won't be purchasing any of them. Here goes nothing!

Week Results Dimes $5075 (20.30 boxes) - 16 FDRs (1 New) and 2 Mercs (1 New) Notables: 2 War Nicks and 1939D Jeff Nick (3.5M Minted) Total Ag: 1.415 oz Hit 20 silver coins this week, the most for 2019 so far. With the '49S out of the picture, I'm feeling much more optimistic about finishing the set before we move at the end of March 2020. Yeah, quantity of finds is down from 2013 when I last hunted this heavy, but the '49D and '49S in back-to-back weeks kinda makes up for it.

Friday Dimes Box 1: 1947S, 1953D, 1964 //NEW FIND!!!, 1985 CAN Coin Counter: [1969, 82] 25 Cents (CAN), 1979 10 Cents (CAN), 1982 1 Cent (CAN), 2015 25 Satang (THA), 1999 1 New Sheqel (ISR) YESSS!!!! Three "Most Wanted" Dimes in three weeks! Crazy enough, I actually found this one in my car today. I never hunt in my car, but I was on a major time crunch today and had to get rid of the ONE box I could get a hold of today. We're now in a really big city for the weekend to visit family. You know what that means...hunting in foreign territory!! I'm gonna get as much as they'll let me take tomorrow... 43 down...5 to go!!

Week Results Dimes $5150 (20.60 boxes) - 15 FDRs (1 NEW) Total Ag: 1.085 oz Second straight week of 15 or more FDRs. Third straight week of pulling a Most Wanted Dime. My statistical model is telling me that it should take on average 39 FDRs to fill the next hole. Hopefully we can defy the odds once again and keep the good times rolling for a fourth straight week! Bad boxes again along with those tougher to open wrappers. Hopefully this ain't the new norm. Got another clad proof! First duplicate - found my last 2009S in 2013. And now, the biggest find of the day: my first ever Indian Head Cent! It's real beat up though...probably why they left it behind. Also has a lot of green pitting. Still, it's a keeper in my book. Take a look...

Week Results Dimes $4750 (19.00 boxes) - 6 FDRs and 2 Mercs Notable: 1956 80% Canadian Obviously, not the best week. Lowest silver total in 9 weeks. Lowest number of FDRs in 9 weeks. There are some positive notes though. We've found eight mercs in the past six weeks. Also, the '56 Canadian 10 cent coin is my 4th oldest.
