I covered the small paddock in the picture which had recently been grazed & the weeds cuts. Whilst Dad carried on with the next field (the one with the Villiage Well). After finishing the small paddock which was basically just a dump (lucky to pick out a few modern coins, 3 signals every swing), I joined Dad & helped him finish off that paddock. Only did 3.5 hours but that was plenty in the & baked clay soil :P We need rain, they are talking about hose pipe bans
Only items of note were:
Silver 1916 Shilling
Geo II counterstamped halfpenny
Grotty 1797 Penny, 3rd from this field.
As we are out of options, tomorrow will be boring.
