Hey guys. So I was metal detecting about 2 years ago when I found these strange objects in a wooded area near my house. I have no idea what they could be. They where found in the same general vicinity of each-other. Both rang up as a coin.

Here is a picture of both.

A closer image of the cylinder. My first thought was, this has to be a strange bullet-casing however; it weighs to much and has too small of holes for a bullet. Also both sides are open.

The second object is pictured below... Take a look.

Any input would be appreciated... Have a great day!

The cylinder looks a 'one hitter'.
Oh my God! That's it, I just googled one hitters. Who knows how old it could be? Thanks again man!

Never heard of it. Tried looking it up, but still not sure how it was supposed to be used.

...I can be pretty dense sometimes. :tongue3:

The stumpy thing is a post from an old car battery.

The first item kinda looks like a valve guide from an engine.

Dammit, your thread title was so misleading. Here I thought you had pictures of UFO's or Democrats hanging them selves from the tress. But noooooo, its a one hitter and a battery terminal.

Sorry to disappoint! Believe me, if I had found a UFO or a democrat hanging from a tree. You would know by the title. :laughing7:

That isn't a one hitter as the term applies you would get one hit from a one hitter. If a person loaded that it would hold more than that. Also wouldn't be two different metal types they are usually one piece brass. This is all just a guess as I don't understand what a one hitter would be.:laughing7:
