Hi All
I'm new to this forum but I had to laugh about being label Tenderfoot.I've been swing a detector since 1965 and I made it from a kit.In 66 I got my first White's and it had three tubes in it.
I now hunt with my Eagle 2,Explorer SE and sometimes with my two box Fisher.I just sold my GP3500 and looking for White's new PI I hope will be out soon.
I started out in Corpus before they made part of the Island a National Sea Shore and ran off the Treasure Hunters that was on the treasure ships at the time.
I tell everyone that want to metal detect that buy the best they can afford and they will find the money to buy the next one.
I guess on this forum I am the new kid on the block.
Thanks for letting me in the door!
Chuck

Well hey, RRunner, sounds like you've been doing this about as long as I have, off and on. Welcome to the forum. We're just a bunch of rednecks that like to go scratch and dig. Well, some are a little more blue collar, but they hide that. ;D Welcome and keep posting on finds and questions and whatever! -Noodle

Hey Chuck, been following you on the gold forums for the last year. Didn't
know you had sold the Minelab 3500 but you still have arrows in your quiver.
My back door neighbor in Dallas had one of early Whites with wooden coil and
tubes. He begged me to find replacements to get it going. He went down
to Padre with Bill Mahan and cleaned up but said ole Bill was too wild for him.
