Hey TL, I can't speak for the Eagle, but the Deleon is a killer. It is an incredibly sensitive machine and will pick up any and all electrical interference in All metal mode where it is the deepest, although it was never designed to be an all metal machine. The Deleon was designed to be used in Disc. mode and that's where it shines but you have to know it's quirks.
That being said, if you are considering a Whites the MXT or M6 both are terrific machines probably one of the best all around machines you can buy but a tad more expensive at 699.00 and 599.00 until Jan. 15 it comes with the Bullseye pin pointer at no extra cost, a 120.00 value.

I agree with TC.

I'd go with the Tesoro DeLeon over the Spectrum but not over the MXT or M6.

However, that DeLeon is very light and easy on the arm. It's a pure joy to use.

Depth wise the MXT (and probably the M6) is deeper.

Tesoros are great coin/ring finders but they're not the deepest detectors on the market by any means.

Most goodies are less than 6 inches deep.
