Not too crude. I thought you were going in a different direction though.

Early this morning I woke up and felt a lump. When I rolled over...I realized I was married to it.

BB: I am the club physician. There was nothing personal in that statement. Just a medical examination and diagnosis. ;)
Don't you have a fan club to attend to? Jeff is gonna be jealous.

Folks,

On a more serious note for a change.....yeah I remember when things were much simpler....no one locked their doors....family and friends helped each other out and never expected more than a thank you in return.

Sunday dinners with the family, picnics in the park.....roaming the streets during the summer with no need of adult support, etc....

I must be getting nostalgic or something...lol.

Regards + HH

I use to love the penny candies, that is so many candies for a penny. One of my favorites was the little wax bottles of Coke. Now a days, I have to settle for those white chocolate squares, and the penny thing is history. frank

I can remember going to the local country store, getting a big buddy gum bar and a package of baseball cards for a dime. Then putting the hank aarons, mickie mantels and so, on my bike spokes with clothes pins---brooom broooom---oh the money in those wheels-----LOL

Hay, the good old days really happened in a lot of ways. Kids actually went outside and played. They learned about nature and actually talked to friends in person. The games they played out there were active and kept them healthy. When people went to the store they knew what to get, they didn't have to call someone on a cell phone to find out. They learned facts from reading and retained them in there heads. They didn't have to Google them. If a person looses there cell phone today, they are lost. Cars were simpler, sure you had to adjust points every once in a while, but they were easily fixable. Today you need a computer, and it is only guessing through a series of fixes. Frank

Folks,

Here's another one some of you folks might remember if you came from humble beginnings.....I can remember having bread pudding as a supper when the pantry was pretty bare at the end of the week.....or home made dumplings with gravy....among other things....

Not rich but we never went hungry....heck I still like some of those simplistic meals today....even though I can afford the
more expensive stuff....I guess you'd call it being self sufficient in today's world.
