The oldies out of the ground that is B)

Well I was originally going to join up with JW up at Big Rec but due to a Bday party for my brother the night before I wasn't quite feeling myself the next morning

So later in the evening I decided to give the SE it's first real run at one of those "pounded" sites. I was really excited to see these guys start popping out of the ground.

I will admit that the first couple hours with the SE were frustrating as all heck but the tones really started sinking in. I chased a few targets with my Lesche until I realized that I was pinpointing right but digging under the wrong part of the loop! Lesson learned ;)

All in all I had a great time with the SE. One smoooooooooth machine!

Oh.....that Indian Head up top is my first!!!

Indian Head - 1895
Wheaties - 1919, 1951, 1935, 1949, 1946, 1957, 1952

SILVER
Mercs - 1935, 1942, 1939
Nickels - 1953, 1963, 1964, 1964 (not silver)
Rosie - 1963

Great post but you really had me going at first ;D

Those Minelabs have sure come a long way in recent years. No matter where you go seems like they set the pace today. I was going to get the Sovereign GT but it was a little too high for my budget right now. I went with the Tejon which I hear is also deep.

You're doing great!

Well I was gonna offer to take it off your hands...
Instead I'll just have to say great work and nice finds!

Have fun,
Salvager

P.S. The offer is still there if you ever change your mind!

I haven't used a Tejon yet but I have used a Sovereign before and they go deep as well. Maybe someone here can chime in on Tejon performance but it may be worth it to wait a bit longer and get the GT. It's a nice machine.
