Went back to my usual old park in Fresno yesterday. No gold rings this time, but I found another Indian hiding in the ground! I actually dug out a clad penny first and when I re checked my hole with the pin pointer, there was another good target. Dug down and popped out an 1879 Indian head cent. Wouldn't have got it out if it wasn't for that penny first!

A few minutes later I dug a wheat penny that was toasted on the obverse. The reverse I could see the wheat ears but couldn't see that date. Decided to take the dremel to it when I got home and with a little buff-out I saw the 1917-S come out. Very happy
