~EE~
However, it has been shown that you have solicited sales of LRLs directly via PM on this site, without ever being asked for such.
And Art has admitted to receiving gratuities from, and being an insider in the sales force of, LRL companies.
Please do not spread falsehoods on this forum?...Art

Once again---no specific data. Sorry that doesn't make for a credible rebuttal.

Everybody here caught you already in your many falsehoods. If you said about the use of lemon to test gold, that's your problem. I use Kellyco gold kit but that is not the issue. I'm not emotional but observer about your behavior. Everybody here, in some manner, don't like you because the way you're. I'm honest with you. You're an old man of 65. Make your mind. Keep busy attending your grandchild rather than arguing with user about MFD. California has many reason to re- build its economy. Maybe you can be useful there because your thoughts, ideas, criticism and skepticism are not useful at all in this forum.

And once again, you try to make me the topic subject, rather than face reality.

I'm not the topic of this, or any other thread, in this (LRL) section.

You have no need to worry about me. Just the discussion.

You made a statement about something I supposedly said, but your statement was false. And now you can't admit it. So you want to change the subject to attacking me. This isn't my first rodeo, Arch. That won't work. Did you ever consider apologizing for making that false statement? Otherwise, it won't just go away. It stays stuck in front of you, and you will just have to live with it.

Of course you can't post the quote, because there isn't any. You simply made that up.

So, to avoid admitting to your fabrication, you are trying to change the subject over to me.

Sorry, that won't get you out of your spot as an exposed pretender.

Is it also in your constitution that you should make up falshoods? Oh, that's right, I forgot---you are an LRL promoter, so that's just what you do! I shouldn't have needed to ask!

:laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7:

Don't be a doof---show the proof! And quit complaining about the truth, the facts, and reality!

P.S. When will you man-up and take Carl's double-blind test, and collect the $25,000.00?

A Self-Confessed Liar
To be fair, he has never claimed to be anything other than a showman, best expressed by his own remark,
'I am a charlatan, a liar, a thief and a fake altogether.'
However, those he has maligned find it less amusing and persistent rumours of forthcoming libel cases would seem to be entirely justified. Perhaps more importantly still, the mischief caused by his unsupported explanations can be profound; the effect is to cloud the issues as his 'debunkings' become part of the public lore. It is thus particularly unfortunate that so many top-ranking scientists, desperate to ignore evidence to the extent that they will believe almost anyone who opposes the paranormal, still appear to take his views seriously, quoting his research as if it were really credible.

Wow. The topic is metal detector makers and LRLs.

How do you get that Randi has the slightest thing to do with any of this topic, or previous posts?

That's really way out there, Art, even for you!

Reality is calling you, Art. Get in contact with it as soon as possible, or you might get stuck out there in orbit.

I always relate my posts to either the topic of the thread, or to another post in the thread.

You, however, seem to want to make the LRL forum into nothing more than a mish-mash of confusion and insults.

You are not going to make the moderators happy campers by doing that.

But that is your own problem, not mine....

I have never insulted anyone first. After you throw a few insults, you become fair game, so that's your problem. It seems you can toss it out there, but then you cry like a baby when it comes back to you. Well, get used to it, because that's the way life is. Poor baby.

However, at the end of the day the Skeptics, Electrical Engineers and other anti-Fraudsters rule the field.
So...By working as a repairman of Electronic Devise makes you an expert on LRL’s?

Re: The "metal detector mfr's are afraid of LRL's" delusion

I tend to stay out of these discussions, although I do visit on almost a daily basis on my lunch break. It's great reading.

I am a fairly novice treasure hunter. Only about 4 years under my belt. I saw a video of one of these contraptions on you-tube, discovered that it was a LRL, and came to this forum to learn more. I very quickly saw folks were divided into two groups:

1. The folks who contend that LRL's work.
2. The "Skeptics."

I perceived that the skeptics usually followed well reasoned, scientific approaches to their arguments, and yes, they did get nasty sometimes.

I also percieved that the proponents of LRL's tended to sound a lot like people in the grips of religious zeal, ready to babble on incoherently about their particular brand of fanatacism.

That's about when I dismissed LRL's. So, I typically stay out of discussions about them.

That is until I read this.

architecad said:
When a person turn in a Skeptics or atheist, that person get close his or her mind to see what he or she want to see, no matter how many trues we can bring on front of you, you won't accept it as real evidence.

Quite frankly, architecad, you wouldn't know the first thing about what it's like to be an athiest. It is not closing one's mind. Do you know how much of an OPEN mind it takes to disabuse oneself of decades of indoctrination and societal norms? Do you know how much we struggle with it? You don't. So please don't include us in with your dogma.

Although, I do find it interesting that you lump us in with people that are skeptical of LRL's. If the Skeptics and Atheists are in the same group, then their converse, or LRL proponets and Theists, must also be the same group.

Yes, I do look at your belief in LRL's as a religion. It has all the hallmarks of one, for instance:

1. The unquestioning belief in LRL's in contrast of sound science.
2. The tendency to attack people who don't agree.
3. The sanctification of human beings at the head of your belief system.

I'm pretty sure the "skeptics" on here are just trying to keep people from drinking the kool-aid. I, for one, hope they continue to do it.

Regards,
Kevo
