I am thinking that unless you show some of your finds you will have no credibility. You start a thread about these cache spots with nothing to show us. Do you start to believe the stuff you post here. If you do that makes about one. I am starting to feel sorry for you. Why don't you go out and buy a metal detector and try this hobby for real. I bet you could find somebody on this forum that's near you to hunt with. Maybe step away from this fantasy we call the Internet. Go out and get some fresh air and talk to people face to face.

Spart, I could win on the abandened property . If I recoverer it that is the proof. I am thinking about a nite raid. I can park on the street about 13' away from it, walk over to the spot and run the vibra tector over the spot. If it is still there, I can move the rock" about football size" remove the coins and neatly replace the rock. I figure 10 min max. Hay this is not Gettysburg! View attachment 654982
But it is private property Frank....nobody here should be using the sneak attack...Thats not what we are about

More words of infinite wisdom from the mind of Frankn.

Keep those words of wisdom in mind as you are riding in the back of an ambulance with a couple of extra holes in your body. And for your families sake, please be sure your life insurance is up to date.

I really hope you are just a kid with access to a computer and not actually a grown man as you have said. If not,you will eventually make a very bad decision and all those involved will be worse for it.

Yeah, a night raid :headbang: Can you imagine the house is owned by relatives of George Zimmerman

Wow, you'd get a beating and shot... A perfect 2 for :laughing9:

How about high noon with 100 degree wheather. It would take about 10 min. max to check and remove if still there. I doubt if they would even come out of the house for someone on the far end of there property about 10' from the public walk.

How about going to this alleged place and digging it up instead of being on the Internet talking about it.

Okay since you did not take my first suggestion I will make another one. Approach the owner and tell him you grew up in the house and it has always had a warm spot in your heart (this is true). You would like to buy the home from them for one million dollars but since you are old and don't want a property with too many problems you want to do a house inspection during the attorney review period. Now you have three days to go dig up your coins at your leisure. Before the three days are up just call and say there are too many problems with the property so you are withdrawing the offer. Hell, during attorney review you hardly even need a reason to walk away from a deal. Isn't America great.

Come on this is some of my best stuff here...go get it

(On a serious note: if you really do try to sneak onto the property your an idiot. Mods: I'm not calling him a name but I will say anyone sneaking onto other peoples property to metal detect, even if it is to get something you buried 60 years ago, is an idiot. Okay maybe I am calling him names...sorry. I just hope he is kidding.)

Can you please respond to this. Why are you not out there getting these alleged coins. If you want to see some of my finds go to my profile and look at the threads I have started.

Can you show the edge of the first coin in a picture? If not can you show the other side.

Ok now your up.

Going to be tough to take a pic of something you don't have. I see that the pictures you showed are not taken at the same time and place and on a different camera. Maybe you can group them all together.

When did you allegedly find those coins. Did you use a metal detector? If so which one. Can you take a picture of your detector? Do you own a detector? Your profile tells us you do,but you tell us a lot of things.

Have you happened to notice that all the response to your threads are not very positive.

So now, you are going to enter private property during the day and dig up the owners yard.

If you are truly a 74 year old man who has been around as you say you have, you need to seek counseling immediately before you wind up on a cold slab. And yes, I am dead serious.

The fortunate part is that there is a 99% chance that you are just a young kid with nothing better to do, or a grown man looking for attention.

Ticm, I have mounted the coin from a cache found near Columbus NM many years ago so as you can well see from the picture the edges are covered, but here is the other side. Now show up or shut up! post some of your images here! coins_0002 H 5 peso.jpg

All the pictures were taken with the same camera at the same place but at different times and different lighting. Among other things, I am a photographer. I guess you are the guy that has to put your finger in his wound.

Here's what I would do. Introduce yourself to the new landowner. Tell them that you used to live in the house. Show proof if you have it. Then tell them that as a youngster, you and some friends buried a "time capsule" and that now, unfortunately, one of the old gang has passed and you wanted to bring the time capsule to the family gathering so you all could remember the good old days. Tell them you know exactly where it is and that it will only take you a few minutes to recover, and that you will leave the yard in great shape and won't make a mess. This should peruade them to let you come on to the property and get your goods.
