I have generally found more coin CRH than metal detecting, although my metal detecting finds are always of a higher quality and usually much more unique. That being said, up until yesterday I had not found silver with my metal detector. I have found other interesting things like antique bus tokens, bullets, and indian head and wheat cents, but somehow silver always eluded me. Hence why I coin roll hunt.

This weekend, 2 boxes of dimes CRH = both skunks. Went out to a friends backyard and dug up a 1942 wheat cent, 4 copper pennies, a clad dime, and...taadaa! a '58d silver quarter. Finally!!!!!!!! I can't express my happiness.

so, this weekend, CRH = 0, MD = 1. We will see how this week pans out, looks like I may be doing a bit of both
