Hi Everyone,

I caught a great 45 degree day. I've been reading everything I can here when it was cold cold outside, I'm so glad I did and listened to the oldtimers. Can't get to the beach now so I hit a tot lot at a local elementary school today. It felt good getting the fix.

I know the Thrill now !!! Seeing the gold 4" down got me going. I was digging everthing with my Prismll to get the experience. I never was thinking gold ring. I was happy with the $.98 in clad. I know the thrill now and look forward to many more. Whewwww, my first gold ring!!

Beside the clad I got some slaw, a lot of pull tabs and a neat pressed penny from the Constitution Center in Philadelphia.

I'm hoping to get out tomorrow again and afterwards I'm going to be here learning more. I have to get some cleaning finds info and oh yea.... some karat info. The ring today says 10k.

I'm thankful to all of you for the info I've learned here.

Here's a little spin.

Happy New Year to All.

Mango

Cool! Is there a stone in the middle? (can't really see in the pic)
Which structure did you find the ring by?

Cinder,

I found the ring just outside the curbing of the Tot Lot. I was surprised it was there among a lot of pull tabs. There is no stone in it. That's a crucifix on the front of the small kids ring.
The picture was taken with my cell phone.

The Best

Sounds like beginners luck. I guess it will be awhile before you top that one. Hoping you do (fingers crossed).
