was all I found today.went to an old farmhouse I just got permisson to hunt. It rang in like a half dollar @ 7 inches. I did a quick search and learned that the company was renamed in 1894 to George Dickel after his death so it must be at least that old. hopefully it will turn out to be worth more than the silver half I thought it was while digging. thanks for looking

Bourbon is my flavor of choice. For the slogan to be 'Mellow as Moonlight' that stuff must have been smoooooooooooooth! Nice token.

Thats a real nice find!

I don't know much about values, but from an OLD book it notes these type of tokens going for around $5
Given thats 1992 valuation yours is probably closer to $10.00. Just a guess of course.

The Bulgarian thanks for the close-ups of flip's token. Sure makes it easier to see the detail.

Hey, flip, I'd take that token over a Kennedy, Franklin, Walking Liberty half any day. Sure, I like silver, but that token is sweet. Congrats.
 

Very cool token. In Canada they are not as abundant as they appear to be in the USA. Lucky you!

WOW! I just now noticed all the great stuff in the display case in the BACKGROUND of these photos. Flip, what is all that stuff in the case? It looks like Indian artifacts and bullets. We wanna see more!!!

thanks. yes treasuretales one of my obsessions, if its old i will drag it home. just got a camera so will try to post some on the artifact forum soon.
