Got permission to hunt a new field today. I got an 1847 Large Cent that I gave to the land owner.... Right at the end of the hunt I got a REAL nice sounding beep. Down about 6 inches I see the much sought after glint of silver... Turned out to be a 1780 Spanish One Real...

I guess I'll be making a return trip to this field....

Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting.....

Very nice Brian. Lets see a pic of the other side.
Chris
Chris asked to see the other side.... Well, I purposely didn't show it on the first post because it would expose my dirty little secret...

Well... I guess I'll do it....

As you can see it appears that I scratched it..... (well, at least I think I did it. I can't tell if its a new or old scratch. I did have trouble digging the hole due to it being a bit rocky so I could have nicked it?).

I'll still take it... Spanish Silver is a great find scratched or not !!!!

Thanks guys
