I have been super busy and really haven't had time to get out.
Getting material together for different house projects and watching it go from wet to cold. Their talking snow tomorrow. After attending last night's Metal Detecting Monthly Club Meeting, I decided that I have to get out and swing the coil.
I have a contractor installing a driveway right now so I spent the morning around the house doing stuff. Around 1:30, I decided to scoot.
The park was empty. My first target was a musket ball at 7 inches. The DEUS read it like a quarter. I thought that strange. I have gotten musket balls before with the DEUS, but I don't recall them coming in at 95.
Aside from clad and can slaw, I recovered 2 other targets that I will put in coin folders and catalog.
The first was a Rotary International medallion. It was only 2 inches deep.
The other was a religious medal from about 7 inches deep. This medal is from Graymoor which is the Headquarters of the Fransiscan Friars. It is located near Garrison, NY.
Graymoor is also known as the Holy Mountain. Quite a few broken souls have been helped at St. Christopher's Inn. Graymoor has a very interesting history.

Cool, thanx for sharing!

Glad to see you got out, nice finds. Cool that you found that medal from Graymoor, it’s 10 minute from where I live. Well done! Congrats and HH

Now that's a good day. I'm glad for ya!! I don't know why nut I love those religious pendant there really cool. Thanks for the post!!!!!!

Always a good hunt. Love those pendants. I only find the modern bullets, must be some park.

Some really nice finds....good to get out hunting I bet!!!

I don't follow the numbers, I try and listen and use those dam Deus numbers as a guide. I've seen musket balls hit 96, any sweeter sounding or solid sounding target gets it first time around. Nice post brother.

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:
