Merf, you're killing me. Three weeks and you find what I expect to find in a lifetime. :D

Keep it up. I enjoy seeing the things you find in the fields.

Those are some great finds Merf! Is the 1853 dime an O? The holed silver is a half reale? Also, the coin dated 1863 looks like a design off an older gold coin.. Is that some kind of Civil War token? The rest of the coins and buttons are nice :headbang:

Thanks Umrgolf  The dime has no mintmark :-\
Thanks for the info on the holed silver--I have to do some more measuring and comparing.
Hope it is a half real. The 1863 says OUR ARMY on the back side. I think it is a civil war army token used to make purchases.

:icon_thumleft: If the holed silver is just slightly smaller than a dime, 99% chance that's what it is. The 1863 token is great and I believe it was designed after the Draped Bust gold coins :icon_thumleft:

btw, the dime looks AU :o

Merf, I wanna be just like you when I grow up! Man that is a hoard of goodies. I love the old patriotic civil war token. Nice stuff all the way around. Congrats and I hope the weather stays great like it has been. ;D :icon_sunny: jgas
