No, you don't need to buy silver and practice with them. Keep doing what you are doing, the silver will come. However, you may need to dig more choppy signals.

Just keep digging everything, you will figure it out. From the looks of it silver is just around the Corner for you

Well you got enough clad to buy at least one silver coin.

I really don't think there is anyone else hunting around here. I am over 60.00 in clad in under a month of hunting.

I have found silver before but don't remember how it sounded. Don't have those coins anymore thanks to ex-girlfriend

well, first off it has to be there. not saying that it isn't there but sometimes it can be scarce. Digging those iffy targets can pay off as well. I have dug some dimes that I was surprised that they were silver. there are so many variables, the soil content, what is beside or above it etc. the more we dig, hopefully the more that we learn.

Great hunt, where there are abundant coins, there are pieces of silver and gold jewelry. Keep hitting the parks hard, under trees, playgrounds, sidewalk areas! You in Hanford, California? Sub 8-)

Nice clad haul. If you are hitting public parks or any public ground you are going to dig every coin signal you get I reckon. Practicing on silver coins won't assist you in finding silver in my opinion. Just keep after it and you'll get your silver along with the clad. If you really want silver then gaining access to private permissions will increase your chances of scoring silver coins. Location is a key factor in silver recovery. Swing over old ground where no one else has swung before. :hello:

it'll be there when your time has come. In the meantime, bank the loot! You're on a roll! :icon_thumright:
