If not uni-face thumb scrapers, they are probably pre-forms. Nice ones whatever they are. I like them a lot.

The guy laughs out loud .. Must be about the fact that he believes the fine pressure flaking was done on preforms.
Some people are funny I agree

I found them in that shape and worked. Not sure sometimes if they werent used as a dart point cause they usually have a tip on the other end. But most likely a scraper or knife. You got some good looking ones.

You're right rock some forms of dart points are very similar a close look at sharpening and use wear can help determine the difference.

Speaking of use wear as an indicator, glad you mentioned it.

I wonder Outlaw will tell us if there is any obvious use wear, or signs of re-sharpening on the pieces in question. Or are they stage one, and un-used?

If you can't see that there is obvious sharpening on some of these in the photos quito you may want to have someone authenticate all the things you buy for you.

I would bet that some of them are alternately beveled on the other side

Those round ends looks pretty thick to me. I wonder if they have been thinned.

Yep, more pics will help.

Umm, I said RE-sharpened. Like they had been used and sharpened again. Of course they had a sharp edge put on them initially.

Are you throwing around insults again?
