World Clock Help!!!

Hi everyone, I wanted to know if anyone knew about a clock called a Geochron world clock. I found one in an antique mall for a good price (350.00) Is there anything I should look for to be sure it is in working order? They cost 1600-1800 new, so I'm just wonderinng is something is wrong with it. Thanks.
