First off, I can't provide pix so you'll have to believe me on this. I had the most incredible luck today at the casinos downtown. I started off finding four 40% in my first $200 (66, 67x2, 69), a pretty good start.
Then I went across the street to another casino and plopped in front of my usual machine. My first $100 netted me 12 more 40%-ers. I was in heaven! It was already a day for the record book but what happened next blew my mind!! The machine kept jamming up and the tech had to fix it repeatedly. When she opened the door all I could see in the hopper was silver, silver, silver! A feverish $400 later I had the single biggest haul of 40%-ers I could ever hope to find in one day. Here are the mind-boggling numbers -
1965 - 19
1966 - 51
1967 - 126
1968 - 99
1969 - 49
Total = 344 coins
$172 face value in 40%!!!!! I had to stop because it was getting to be too much to carry! But the good news is I probably got 99% of it. I found almost double my year's total in ONE DAY! I'm simply delirious with glee! At one point the tech filled the machine and when she set the bag down on my chair it made that lovely silver "ching" sound. It was very difficult to make it look like I was playing and not just draining!
I haven't found a dream box like some have, but I think this is what it feels like!
