Hibanking for fine gold

Part 4 is up

Apologize for not bringing the loupe, but the hibanker recovered as much fine gold as the best video cleanup I have posted from there. I was quite happy with the take. Hopefully I will get out there and hibank again thursday or friday for a couple hours.

Part 5 is up. Was happy with the take for only a couple hours of work. Cant wait to get back digging in there.

Enjoyed the video as usual.. keep em coming :icon_thumleft:

Just wondering if the sluice has an inclined lead up to the vortex mat? I've found that the mat works best when there is a smooth transition to the surface of the mat. Of course if the mat starts out under a riffle that would do it. But if there is a blunt edge between the ribbed inspection mat and the first riffle it helps if you could create a smoother transition. It also helps keep material from getting underneath the mat. (just my 2 cents)

GG~

I am wondering why you don't shovel directly into the box?

Because to get the best recovery for the finer gold hes getting, screening helps getting the specific gravity for the fine gold heavier than the waste rock that dont have any value.
